1、 The basic principle and working process of electromagnetic flow meters
Electromagnetic flowmeter is an instrument used to measure the flow rate of conductive liquids, and its measurement principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. According to the law, when a conductive liquid passes through a conductive material in a magnetic field, electrons in the liquid will be subjected to magnetic force, resulting in the generation of voltage, which is proportional to the flow rate of the liquid. By measuring the voltage in the liquid, the flow rate and flow rate of the liquid can be calculated.
The working process of an electromagnetic flowmeter is relatively simple. When the liquid flows through the electromagnetic flowmeter, it will have an impact on the magnetic field, causing a change in the potential at the electrode and converting it into signals such as 0-10V for output. Then, based on the calibration coefficient or calibration curve, the potential is converted to obtain the liquid flow rate.
2、 The reasons for the large pressure loss of electromagnetic flow meters
Electromagnetic flow meters often suffer from significant pressure loss during use. This problem is mainly caused by the following reasons:
1. The structural design of the flowmeter is unreasonable, resulting in resistance when too much liquid flows through the flow meter.
2. There are issues with the interface design of the flow meter, which can cause liquid to collide during flow through the flow meter, resulting in pressure loss.
3. Improper material selection of flow meters can result in obstructed flow direction and significant pressure loss.
All of these reasons can lead to significant pressure loss during the use of electromagnetic flow meters. If there is a significant pressure loss, the flow rate will decrease while the liquid flow rate remains constant, thereby reducing the accuracy and reliability of the measurement.
3、 A solution to high pressure loss in electromagnetic flow meters
In response to the above reasons, the following measures can be taken to solve the problem of large pressure loss in electromagnetic flow meters:
1. Electromagnetic flow meters with smooth flow and reasonable interface design should be selected.
2. During the installation process, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions for the use of the electromagnetic flowmeter to ensure that the interface position of the electromagnetic flowmeter is reasonable, and the impact of the liquid during the flow through the flowmeter is minimized as much as possible.
3. Suitable fluid pipelines should be selected, and the appropriate fluid velocity should be selected according to process requirements to avoid pressure loss caused by excessive or insufficient flow rate.
In summary, the problem of high pressure loss in electromagnetic flow meters is mainly caused by unreasonable design of the flow meter structure, problems with interface design, and improper material selection. When using electromagnetic flow meters,
Suitable fluid pipelines should be selected to avoid pressure loss caused by excessive or insufficient flow velocity. Meanwhile, during the installation process, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions for use,
Ensure that fluid impacts are minimized during flow through the flowmeter to improve measurement accuracy and reliability
