1. Inner wall adhesion layer
Because electromagnetic flow meters have a much higher probability of encountering faults induced by the inner wall adhesion layer compared to other flow meters when measuring methods with floating solids or dirt. If the conductivity of the adhesion layer is similar to that of the liquid, the instrument can still output signals normally, but it is just a hidden fault problem of transforming the smooth area, which constitutes a measurement method deviation; Once a high conductivity layer is attached, the electromotive force between the electrodes will be short circuited; Once the insulation adhesion layer is applied, the appearance of the electrode is insulated and the measurement method circuit is disconnected.
2. Lightning shock
Lightning strikes can cause instantaneous high voltage and surge current in the circuit, which can damage the instrument when entering.
3. Reasons for working environment
The vast majority of faults caused by external factors are caused by interference signals such as external electromagnetic waves, motor magnetic fields, and stray currents in the instrument. The interference signals from external electromagnetic waves are mainly introduced by signal cables, generally using single-layer or multi-layer shielding for protection. Generally speaking, a good individual grounding protection can be used to obtain satisfactory measurement methods for current interference signals.
